Registered Founders
Charter.
Establishing the Trust Layer for the Knowledge Economy.
Version 1.0
Preamble
The world has entered a new digital era.
The Internet made information accessible.
Cloud computing made intelligence scalable.
Artificial intelligence is transforming how knowledge is created, processed and consumed.
However, the digital world lacks a universal infrastructure for proving the origin, authenticity, integrity and value of knowledge.
As synthetic content increases, the ability to distinguish trusted knowledge from unverified information becomes essential for individuals, organisations, governments and intelligent systems.
AuthOrigin is being established to address this challenge.
It is an open standard designed to create a persistent trust layer for digital knowledge through provenance, identity, verification and value exchange.
The Registered Founders of AuthOrigin recognise that this challenge cannot be solved by one organisation alone.
It requires collaboration between technology companies, enterprises, institutions, researchers and public organisations committed to building open infrastructure for the future.
Article 1
Purpose

The ecosystem succeeds when thousands of organisations build upon the foundation.
Article 10
kCv and Knowledge Value Exchange
AuthOrigin introduces the concept of knowledge value exchange through kCv.

The evolution of kCv shall be governed transparently to ensure alignment with the principles of trust, fairness and interoperability.
Article 11
Long-Term Commitment
Registered Founders recognise that building global infrastructure requires patience, collaboration and long-term commitment.
